Did you hear that?!

I find it funny when you're in a new home, and every bump, click, or tap is a big deal.
"WHAT WAS THAT!?"

Today Ariyah woke up at 7:45, this very unusual for her. We were cuddled up on the couch for about an hour or so together watching Rugrats (yes, that show is still on). While cuddling I noticed all the knocking, tapping, and clicking, wondering why I was so suspicious of them just two months ago.
That tapping is the fridge turning on, the knocking is of the dryer next door being used, the clicking is of the shower upstairs being turned on, DUH!
Why are sounds such scary things? Is it because we have no clue where it is coming from or because it is something we have never heard? I think the reason most find sounds scary is because when you sit and try to think of all the things that sound could have come from, most think negative.
'I think our front door just opened, did I lock it?'
'Why is the toilet making that sound, is it overflowing?'
But why?
Why do we associate sounds with something negative?
Why do YOU think sounds are scary?

I love

I absolutely, positively, LOVE lazy days.
Just a month ago I hated them; I hated staying inside, at home, watching television without anything to do. Now I feel almost, accomplished to just SIT. I do have to work later but right now I don't even care. I am excited for work due to the fact that I only have to be there for two hours, but I also get to work with my favorite co-worker! It has been a really good weekend for me. I worked a lot this week and I feel deserved of rest and relaxation and that friends is an awesome feeling.

it's just the sun Chichu Bunkin :]

On the other hand, I'm really feeling bad for my mother. So much has happened in the past year that she just didn't have time to take a break. Most recently (about a month), the basement and upstairs bathroom flooded and insurance is being difficult. She is finally replacing things, fixing her wood flooring, and getting tiles in the bathroom redone. Today, it hasn't proven to have stopped since the new year. Our family dog, Tank, tripped over a cord that was connected to her very new, expensive, 42'' Sony television, and managed to pull it down off of the dresser. Needless to say, the tv is now unable to be turned on. Immediately, she went to BestBuy to get a new one, as to avoid the stress of wondering how she was going to handle this situation, on top of everything else.

I really wish I had more money to help my mama out, or at least give a break, like a vacation! I feel bad because I have had more success as a 19 year old in an apartment for just over a month, than she has had in an entire year. I love her, and I pray that things will just get better.
You may not see this mama, but I love you dearly.

Fuck last night..

End Rant..

I would just like to rant really quick.
No, I will not use the purse you got me, due to the fact that you KNOW my mother bought me a $300 Coach purse from Las Vegas and I don't want your cheap knock off from the outlet down the street. And I will not touch that damn purse until mine has a gaping hole in the bottom of it, or better yet, I won't touch that damn purse at all.
Disrespectful.

AND NO! He doesn't need jeans because you know that I have already BOUGHT HIM A PAIR.

Why do you always demand that you have your hand in everything?
Does it make you feel important, wanted, needed?
Did we say we needed you, wanted you, or thought you were essential?
No.

Please stop trying to curl your pedicured fingers around everything possible involving my little family. It's not flattering, and in fact it is quite CHILDISH.

End Rant.
